At the Rendezvous, we don’t just serve ribs – we serve the community. Over the years we’ve lent a hand all over town:

• We originated Zoo Rendezvous, which has become the major annual fundraiser for the award-winning Memphis Zoo.
  
  
• We created Rendezvous at the Dixon, a major annual fundraiser for the Dixon Gallery and Gardens.
  
  
• We co-sponsor the Shaun Micheel Make-A-Wish Golf Tournament (formerly the John Daly Make-A-Wish Golf Tournament), an annual fundraiser for Make-A-Wish of the Mid-South, which has raised nearly $10 million for Make-A-Wish.
  
  
• We participate in annual Taste of the Town events in Collierville and Germantown.
  
  
• We participate in the Soup Sunday fundraiser for Youth Villages.
  
  
• We won an award for renovation and new construction from Memphis Heritage.
  
  
• Our founder, Charlie Vergos, was named one of the Downtowners of the Decade in 2001 and is a former head of the Memphis Convention and Visitors Bureau.
  
  
• Charlie’s son John Vergos served eight years on the Memphis City Council.
